Where to watch matchday 27 of the EA Sports League

Matchday 27 of the EA Sports League will be played between Friday 6 and Monday 9 March, and in this article we tell you where you can watch it on television.

Matchday 27 of the EA Sports League kicks off with a big game at Balaídos. Celta Vigo, sixth in the table and on a very positive run, welcomes a Real Madrid side in crisis. Álvaro Arbeloa's team has lost its last two games and has seen Barça pull four points ahead. If the Whites don't want to start saying goodbye to the title, they must take all three points in Vigo.

The leaders, Barcelona, travel to Bilbao to face Athletic at San Mamés on Saturday. It will be a clash between the two losers of the Copa del Rey semi-finals. The Catalan side came close to overturning the four-goal deficit they took away from the Metropolitano, while the Lions fell again to Real Sociedad, showing that they are far from their best this season.

Rehearsal for the Cup final

Another of Saturday's big games will be the clash between Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad at the Metropolitano. The two teams will meet again in Seville on 18 April in the Copa del Rey final, which will be played at La Cartuja. Both teams come into this game on the emotional high of having secured their place in the final, where they will battle it out for the title.

Saturday's matches are rounded off by the clash at El Sadar between Osasuna and Mallorca, which will see Demichelis make his debut in charge of the Bermellones, and the match between Levante and Girona at the Ciutat de València. The Granotas are facing one of their last chances to get back into the fight for survival.

On Sunday, there will be the Valencian Community derby between Villarreal and Elche; Betis' visit to Getafe; the direct duel between Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano to definitively leave the relegation zone behind; and the match between Valencia and Alavés at Mestalla, which will be Quique Sánchez Flores' debut on the bench for the Vitoria-based side. The matchday will conclude on Monday with Espanyol v Oviedo.
