Where to watch the Conference League play-offs

The second legs of the Conference League play-offs will be played at 5:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

As with the Europa League, the Conference League also plays second legs in the play-offs. There will be eight matches to determine the final qualifiers for the round of 16 of the third continental competition. Four of them will be played at 5:45 p.m. and another four at 8:00 p.m.

In the first leg, all the teams won away from home, so those playing at home in the second leg have the advantage on the scoreboard and in the stands. The most convincing was Fiorentina, twice runners-up in the tournament, who thrashed Jagiellonia 3-0 and put one foot and a half in the Conference League round of 16.

In the other three matches, the score was closer, with the wins coming by a single goal. Samsunspor and Rijeka beat Shkëndija and Omonia by a single goal, while Celje beat Drita 2-3. Thus, the Ottomans, Croatians and Slovenians will defend a one-goal advantage with the support of their fans.

5:45 p.m. Conference League play-off second leg matches

  • Celje - Drita (TNT Sports, TNT Sports 10 and Discovery+)
  • Fiorentina - Jagiellonia (TNT Sports, TNT Sports 8 and Discovery+)

Crystal Palace to do their homework

In the 8:00 p.m. matches, only Lech Poznan has a considerable advantage. The Poles beat KuPS 2-0 in the first leg to set up their passage to the Conference League round of 16. Another team with an advantage is Armenia's Noah, who beat AZ Alkmaar with a solitary goal and will travel to the Netherlands with the aim of causing an upset in the tie.

The other two ties to be decided in the 8 p.m. round are evenly matched after 1-1 draws in the first legs. Lausanne will try to make the most of home advantage against Sigma Olomouc. The only English representative, Crystal Palace, drew in Mostar against Zrinjski, so they must win at Selhurst Park against the Bosnian and Herzegovinian side to avoid any surprises and progress to the next round.

The eight play-off winners will face the eight teams that finished in the top eight of the group stage. The draw for the Conference League round of 16 will take place on Friday 27 February at 1pm at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
