The season is not yet over and rumours are beginning to take centre stage in the football world. In the case of Real Madrid, who have the Champions League final at Wembley ahead of them, it seems that they have made a decision about their defence for next season.

As reported by ‘COPE’, Alphonso Davies (Bayern) and Leny Yoro (Lille), two names that have been mentioned in recent times as possible reinforcements, have been ruled out by the ‘Merengue’ board to the benefit of two academy players: Miguel Gutierrez and Rafa Marin, both of whom the club want to be in the pre-season.

The aforementioned source states that the current Girona full-back has earned the right to return to Madrid after the great performance he has given this season at the Catalan side. To date, the Madrilenian has played 39 games, in which he has scored 2 goals and provided 8 assists. Curiously, his only two goals have been against FC Barcelona (one in each game).

The player himself, raised in 'La Fabrica' since 2011, is aware that the team that developed him wants him and that is why they are willing to pay the 8 million of the buy-back clause. The Alphonso Davies option could be available for 2025, which is when his contract with Bayern Munich expires.

The Sevillian has played 34 games this season and could have a place if Nacho decides to leave. The arrival of Yoro would also be postponed because Lille are asking for 60 million, an excessive amount for La Liga champions.
