Ronald Koeman's team are ready for their league debut. Villarreal will be the Barcelona's first opponents in 2020-21.

And Barca have published their squad list for this important fixture. Koeman promised changes and he has already introduced some.

Rafinha is on the squad list of 23 players available to face Villarreal, the first time that the manager has included him in his plans.

There are also plenty of B team players on the list. The youngsters are taking a step forward. Koeman has opted to make room for Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Araujo, Mingo, and Arnau Tenas.

The most surprising decision is perhaps the inclusion of Riqui Puig on the list. When he first arrived, Koeman said that he wasn't counting on him. Afterwards, he clarified: "I only said that he'd struggle for gametime".

Left out are Ter Stegen, Umtiti, Braithewaite and Matheus, all injured. Also left out is Tobido, a tactical decision.
